I am on the look out for women like me. I live in a small country town and find I don't connect with women of my age group. I'm looking for more. I want to maximise this time in my life. Missed out on the 70's revolution because of being bogged down with child rearing and have made a promise to myself that my aging will be as interesting as I can make it.

Hi, I'm about to turn 69 in April. I just finished writing a musical play on aging titled A New Wrinkle, which I hope to see performed in many cities as a vehicle for social change (cultural perceptions of elders are outdated--time for emergence of a new paradigm!)

I began developing Sage's Play, offering programs in creative aging, wellness and spirit, www.sagesplay.com and started a blog at http://sagesplay.blogspot.com.

I find this a very rich time of life. Glad to connect with you!

I used to wish there was a magazine for women over 70, like there is "More" for women over 50. I turned 75 in September, have retired from TWO careers, and just a year ago, I was hired as full-time faculty for our state university. I am energetic, healthy, sexually active (not married), a great-grandmother, and fashionable. I also write a blog (please check it out - http://lavalily.com) and do things many of my students can't or won't do. They say I give them a new role model for aging. I'm glad I found you!

This Friday, I am taking an all day workshop with Anita Meyers, fabric artist who was a featured presenter at a past Handweavers Guild of America Convergence. I loved her presentation of a collection of long vests that represented the ages of women. Friday she will lead us through a series of work stations where we try a variety of fabric enhancing techniques and leave with a notebook of samples.
